Abstract

Supervision, which is used as a teaching method for professionals in the nursing care industry, is said to have three functions: "administrative," "educational," and "supportive" (Kurokawa, 1992).In this study, We examined the relationship between the three functions and the learning outcomes in the training of new employees of Company A's engineering staff. a questionnaire was administered to technical employees up to the third year of employment at Company A, their trainers and supervisors, and each function and the level of skill of the employees were quantified and analyzed. The results showed that supportive functions were more related to learning outcomes than administrative or educational functions.
