Social games have become a familiar part of everyday life. For companies to maintain the quality of their content, they must keep users willing to buy and continue to secure development costs. In contrast, prior studies have identified the billing element, which requires a lot of spending, as a factor that causes users to leave the game. Furthermore, some of the charged elements with gambling nature are thought to work as control illusions. Therefore, this study explores the facilitators of control illusions obtained from existing studies that can be adapted to social games. We will gain insight into how to secure development costs from users while keeping the gambling nature of the charged elements at the current level.
