In recent years, "cashless payment" has become widespread in various countries. However, in Japan, the choice of cash is strong and spreads are much lower than the developed country spreads. The government announced that it would refund 5% of payments as the point of the consumption tax hike scheduled for October 2019, promoting the spread of cashless payments. On the other hand, distrust of security such as fraudulent use in PayPay and SevenPay is increasing, and fostering of appropriate consumer awareness is indispensable for the development of cashless payment in the future. In this research, we focus on the rapidly developing smartphone payment among many cashless payment methods and investigate the risk awareness for cashless payment of ICT students with knowledge of ICT.
