Many people have become fully aware of the major risks hidden in the overly concentrated economy of the city centers. As a countermeasure, "Work at Home" and "Satellite Office" ideas have started to attract attention of many companies across Japan and they have started setting up satellite offices. Thus country side could provide as a befitting option for small scale IT companies looking for expansion. This research aims to serve as an important literature that provides awareness especially to Indian companies willing to set-up offices in Japan. The findings of this research study are supposed to help these companies in the decision making process and penetrating these new markets.
