Along with the full renewal in 2019, we have developed a new official smartphone app. It aims to draw out the questions of visitors and to create a conversation starting from the exhibition items.

The app incorporates chatbots using "IBM Watson Assistant", and a character called Compass will answer questions about the contents of the Science Museum.

In addition, it has a function to check experience records and a function to accumulate points.

From now on, how to develop such content as a tool to deepen communication and learning in the museum is an issue for us.
