This study has a research question that what is the impact of inter-organization collaboration. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the impact of “cooperation" and “donation" collaborations between companies and NPOs in social contribution activities on social evaluation of corporate CSR activities. We employ text mining and multivariate analysis with 376 data from 188 firms in two time periods, 2009 and 2013. Based on the results, we believe that among social contribution activities conducted by companies and NPOs, collaboration through “cooperation" will provide companies with abundant learning opportunities on how to solve social issues and create social value, as well as improve their social reputation, because they can share the specialized experience and knowledge of partner organizations through close collaborative relationships.
