This paper clarifies the trend of research on leaders under VUCA era by conducting a systematic literature review. Although there is a study which addresses agility, flexibility, information gathering and effectiveness as responses to the four elements of VUCA definition and there are some literatures on VUCA leaders which require exploration, flexibility, decisiveness and information gathering, clear understanding of required capabilities of VUCA leaders and how to train them will be future research opportunities.
