Currently, in Japan, cashlessness is being promoted to improve settlement convenience. In addition, mobile payments are attracting attention as one of the payment media, and many companies have entered and competition is intensifying. Among them, PayPay which launched in 2018 is a relatively late-launched mobile payment application , even though it is currently gaining high penetration. Therefore, in this study, the success factors of PayPay dissemination are clarified from the viewpoint of the user expansion strategy, the member store expansion strategy, the business model, etc., and consider the dissemination strategy in the platform type business
