The purpose of this paper is to clarify the mechanism of how 3D Information Technologies (3D-ITs) are effective on the improvement of quality, cost and delivery (QCD) in the development process of cellular phones. Investigating some real cases of the integral processes among the machine design, the electric machine design and the artistic design in detail, the results of this paper indicated that the use of 3D-ITs improved the quality of the shape design, and that it was effective to reach a middle ground of the shape contradiction and the requirements of the designs. Furthermore, this paper showed the indirect effects of the cellular phone development process and suggested the spillover effect that 3D-ITs caused for the management efficiency of the cellular phone manufacturer.

The manufacture company in Japan is threatened by structural change of reduction in labor force etc. In such a situation, small and medium-sized enterprises are performing the measure towards base strengthening of a manufacture field. Small and medium-sized enterprises are beginning to observe practical use of the digital technology in a manufacture field as one of the means. Then, we utilized the digital technology in the manufacture field, improved QCD, and performed the survey to the manufacture company which tackles the correspondence to a structural change. As a result of investigation, there are many companies which tackle digitization of a manufacture field, and they were able to discover results, such as improvement in QCD, as a result of a measure.

Since after the prominent study of the strategic group theory by Porter (1980), the major interest of the strategic group theory has headed mainly in two directions; to prove how strategic groups exist within an industry and to explain the differences between and within the groups with regards to performance. However, it can be said that these studies were conducted under the implicit assumption that the conditions of the industries were relatively stable.
The purpose of this paper is to re-examine the contemporary significance of the strategic group theory and to seek a possible way to develop this theory based on the review of the previous studies.

Application of UISS is expected from proper personnel assignment, and grasp of human resources and promotion of personnel training.
UISS was evaluated by performing an introductory test in two model companies.
Consequently, UISS is applicable to "an inquiry of skill required for a section", "individual mapping", and "presentation of a training point."
On the other hand, the subject also became clear. It is necessary to prepare an index independently about skills other than IS skills. The carrer path which UISS illustrates is unnecessary.

This paper is a research on the solution of the problem of commoditization in the market. I reviewed the researches of predecessors and classified the value that exists inside the product. And also I studied the contact point that is suppliers deliver the value to customers, and aimed to find the concept that the problem of commoditization can be reconsidered at the contact point.
Author's hypothesis is that the benefits of the product and the service are delivered to the customers by the active conduct of business through all contact points.
The differentiation through the addition of the value to the product is one effective way for the market activation. However I thought that it will be more effective way if the suppliers deliver the value of the products to the customers.

A market of warm-water cleaning toilet seats sold by the channel of mass retailers was chosen, and main functions, design, price and promotion were treated as parameters to represent products features. Consumers' values were estimated quantitatively by conjoint analysis. In addition, three model parameters were optimized by genetic algorithm. The simulation result shows a good fit with real market data, and it is suggested that our method is useful to simulate the markets easily. Finally, main error factors are discussed.

Second, the critical consideration will be given to the tradicional concept of "validity". The claims in this paper are, 1) the concept of "model validity" in ABA requires another viewpoint which is differ from the traditional one, and 2) the protocol we should basically follow when we take the ABA as a research method is to make simulation models referable from other researchers in some ways.

From the data set of company-wide questionnaire within a Japanese industrial machine manufacturing company, both of the individual factors positively affected knowledge creation process. By dividing into four modes of knowledge conversion, the individual factors showed different effects in each knowledge conversion mode. In consideration of an interaction effect between autonomy and goal commitment, we indicated a need of follow-up on their individual factors in the whole processes.

By a tacit consent, traditional indices of economic evaluation are understood to serve the purpose to evaluate machinery investment projects. But the volatilities necessary to calculate real options are acquired only from the analysis a single outcome brought by both investments of machinery and information. Then, the same indices are applied to the both investments, either machinery or information investment, to acquire the volatilities and further the real options. Doing it in this way, the PDCA cycle of machinery and information investment program can be built base on the real options.

Knowledge is the prime means of production. It is also the capital. However, from the perspective of knowledge management, there is very little discussion about patents for products and services. A patent is not the same as the technical knowledge of an invention. Currently, there is little empirical discussion about the effectiveness of the use of the expertise in order to produce significant patents for the products and services. Then we indicate the importance of this viewpoint because the loyalties and organizational identification of organization members, which have been developed under healthy administrative behaviors, complement applications of systems methodologies and vice versa. This mechanism will ensure high quality of organizationally created knowledge.

This paper examines typically effective processes of knowledge retrieval in terms of transactive memory in concurrent software development teams. We propose 6 knowledge retrieval processes, and evaluate the effectiveness of them in 4 typical situations of the concurrent development teams. The results of virtual experiments show that if team members have only incomplete knowledge on others, in large teams rapid or sure knowledge retrieval processes are effective, while in small teams broad knowledge retrieval processes are effective. If the members have enough knowledge on others, in small teams rapid or direct knowledge retrieval processes are effective, and in small teams under load, only rapid knowledge retrieval processes are effective.

This time, the Intelligence in Industrial Creation is considered by making medical fields into examples.
